Student Water Conservation Artwork on Display at Water District Headquarters

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) will host a traveling display of artworks submitted by students across Southern California that interpret the theme “Water is Life”. The exhibit will be at LVMWD headquarters from July 8 through 16 and available for viewing during regular business hours.

The impressive student projects were selected for display from thousands submitted in 2012 as part of the annual art contest conducted by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, of which LVMWD is a member agency.

Two local students had their works selected to be part of the traveling display: Liane Lee, was a 4th grade student at Bay Laurel Elementary School when her artwork was submitted and Alexa Ambrosio, was a 3rd grader at Yerba Buena Elementary School during the 2012 school year.
