WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA — Deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of stealing a pair of electric scooters from the Westlake Village Target.

The man entered the Target at the Shoppes at Westlake Village on Russell Ranch Road at around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 and walked to the electronics section. He picked up two electric scooters and left through an emergency door without paying for the items, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect got into a black SUV driven by another man and the pair drove away, deputies said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Lopez at the Malibu/Lost Hills Station at 818-878-1808. Anonymous tips can also be made to Crime Stoppers at 900-222-8477.
