Tree Trimmer Dies While Working In Agoura Hills Yard

The worker appears to have been crushed between a tree limb and the tree, which is about 40 feet in the air, ABC 7 reported.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — A man died Wednesday morning while trimming a tree in an Agoura Hills yard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to the 4000 block of Lewis Road at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report that a person was trapped 40 feet up a tree, officials said.

The tree trimmer appears to have been crushed between a tree limb and the tree. Video from the scene showed crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department using a ladder to get up into the tree and remove the worker's body.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, firefighters said.

The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
