47 Stolen Vehicles Recovered By Alameda Police: Monthly Crime Stats
"Thieves appear to be targeting Honda vehicles (Accord, Civic, & Odyssey)," the Alameda Police Department said Tuesday.
ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda police received 44 vehicle theft reports in April but also recovered 47 stolen vehicles with help from outside agencies during the month, according to the department.
“Thieves appear to be targeting Honda vehicles (Accord, Civic, & Odyssey),” the Alameda Police Department said in its April monthly snapshot, posted Tuesday on Facebook.
Other vehicle-related crimes in the month included nine arrests on suspicion of impaired driving, five of which stemmed from crashes, and five reported catalytic converter thefts, according to police.
