Alameda Man Arrested In Berkeley
The suspect faces weapons and DUI charges, according to police.
ALAMEDA, CA — A 63-year-old Alameda man was arrested early Saturday morning in Berkeley for suspected DUI and carrying a concealed weapon.
Patrol officers found him asleep in his vehicle at the intersection of Fourth Street and Hearst Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:52 a.m. and found an open bottle of alcohol near the suspect.

Following a series of field sobriety tests, he was arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle uncovered a handgun, adding a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
