Free Water Shuttle Service Suspended For Repairs: Alameda Officials
The shuttle, which operates between Alameda and Oakland, will be out of service until early Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
ALAMEDA, CA — Officials say a free water shuttle that provides trips between Alameda and Oakland will be out of service for much of Tuesday due to needed repairs.
Woodstock requires an unscheduled repair, Alameda city officials said in a statement Monday afternoon. The repair will suspend service until at least early Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
"SF Bay Ferry, our operator, is working to quickly make the repair," city officials said. "They hope to have Woodstock back in service by late Tuesday afternoon."

Woodstock is part of a two-year pilot program that launched in 2024, offering 37 trips per day. Due to demand, officials say it has since expanded to making 63 trips each day, running from 7:20 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The 45-foot yellow shuttle operates Tuesday through Sunday, running between the Alameda Landing and Oakland's Jack London Square.
