77-Year-Old Left With 'Severe Injuries' During Bay Area Carjacking: Police
Police are now asking for help finding the suspected attacker and carjacker.

OAKLAND, CA — Police are asking for the public's help finding a suspect who they say left a 77-year-old with "severe injuries" during a carjacking in October.
The attack happened on Oct. 1 in the 1100 block of Clay Street in Oakland, according to police.
Details about what led up to the attack and carjacking were not available. But the Oakland Police Department said it responded to the area following the carjacking and found the injured 77-year-old.

Video footage helped officers pinpoint a woman 20 to 30 years of age as a suspect in the carjacking, police said. The woman appears to be 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a thin build and black hair in a ponytail, police said.
