Scrub Jay Is Alameda Backyard Buddy: Photo Of The Day
Some Alameda residents feed squirrels in their backyards. Others favor birds, like this friendly jay.
ALAMEDA, CA — Tita Mahoney of Alameda calls this bird, "Our sweet blue jay friend."
According to Tita, it waits for her every morning outside the kitchen window for peanuts or other nuts.
