PROJECT  DESCRIPTIONS

In 2021, AC Transit staff implemented two new one-year service pilots. The first of these, Line 78, began in August 2021, and is a new peak-hour timed connection to peak commute direction ferry service operating out of the Seaplane Lagoon ferry terminal. It runs across the City of Alameda along Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and Santa Clara Avenue and up to the Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland. The second pilot, which began in December 2021, is an extension of Line 60 from Chabot College along Hesperian Boulevard and Tennyson Road to the South Hayward BART Station.
