Deaths in Alameda: Sports Fan, Veteran

Andrew Martinez: Martinez, of Alameda, died July 5. He was 51. He was a Bay Area sports fan and loved playing golf.

Robert (Bob) Pirack: Pirack, 84, of Alameda, died July 17. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and worked a variety of jobs in the East Bay. Those included owning House of Fi in Alameda, The Electronic Wizard in Oakland. Most recently he worked at Art at Park Street Antiques in Alameda.
