Forge Pizza Opens In Oakland Airport’s Terminal 2
You have a new choice in eateries the next time that you fly out of Oakland.

OAKLAND, CA — Travelers at Oakland International Airport (OAK) can now enjoy a local favorite with the opening of Forge Pizza in Terminal 2. The new eatery, which began serving customers in mid-January, is the latest addition to OAK’s Food and Beverage program, marking the thirteenth new restaurant to open since 2021. The restaurant is operated by SSP America.
“OAK is proud to welcome Forge Pizza to its ever-growing list of new restaurants introduced with our new program,” said Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Craig Simon. “We’re proud to incorporate a local Oakland business like Forge to help travelers truly feel like they are in the East Bay when they fly OAK.”
Forge Pizza first opened in Jack London Square in 2013 and has been a staple of the Bay Area food scene. The restaurant, known for its artisanal pizzas and wood-fired cooking, will relocate to Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood later this year.
