Kitten Rescued From Storm Drain In Alameda: Police

ALAMEDA, CA — A kitten was rescued from a storm drain recently in Alameda, according to authorities.
“Last week, a passerby heard faint meows coming from deep inside a storm drain on Harbor Bay Parkway,” Alameda police said Thursday in a social media post.
Animal Control Officer Emily Crum collaborated with the public works department to rescue the kitten, according to police.

“After some well-deserved rest, plenty of food, and a whole lot of love, this little guy is safe and recovering at the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter,” police said in the post.
