"Motorists traveling from the East Bay into San Francisco across the San Francisco Bay Bridge (westbound I-80) may experience minor delays," Caltrans officials said.
The overnight closures, scheduled until Sept. 18, are related to a Bay Bridge cable inspection project, according to Caltrans.
