Public Hearing on Alameda Point EIR Draws Few Speakers
A second hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25.

Only three community members spoke at a public hearing on a draft environmental impact report for Alameda Point held before the city's Planning Board Monday evening, according to a report on The Alamedan website.
Most discussion at the meeting focused on the potential traffic impacts of future development at the former Alameda Naval Air Station, the report said.
The public has until Oct. 21 to comment on the 1,000-page draft EIR.
A second public hearing is scheduled for a joint Planning Board and Alameda City Council meeting Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
