ALAMEDA, CA — The Alameda County Registrar of Voters issued a vote count update at 5:45 p.m. Thursday. Here is a look at how the contests in Alameda stand.

The race for the top two spots in the Alameda City Council election was neck-and-neck Tuesday night when votes were tallied. By 1 a.m. Wednesday, Michele Pryor had claimed 24.6-percent of the votes, while Greg Boller had 23.6-percent. Not far behind was Trish Herrera Spencer, who had garnered 22.6-percent. On Thursday, Pryor had 24.8-percent, followed by Boller with 23.4 and Herrera Spencer had 22.5.

In the race for three school board seats, Heather Little, Jennifer Williams, and Meleah Hall continue to be the front-runners.

Looking at the recall attempt of District Attorney Pamela Price, 64-percent of voters want her removed from office.

In the District 5 race for the Board of Supervisors, John J. Bauters continues to hold a comfortable lead over Nikki Fortunato Bas.
