Webster Tube To Close This Week
The City of Alameda has issued a traffic advisory related to Webster Tube electrical work. Drivers should find alternate routes.
ALAMEDA, CA — The Webster Tube (State Route 61), which carries traffic from Oakland to Alameda, will be closed overnight on Monday, July 21, and Tuesday, July 22, from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
These Webster Tunnel closures are occurring because of electrical work that needs to be completed, according to the City of Alameda.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) advises motorists to use alternate routes and allow for extra travel time.
