WITCHFEST 2022 Announces Alameda Event In October
The annual event celebrates the Halloween season featuring art, vendors, music, speakers, food, kids crafts and holistic practitioners.
ALAMEDA, CA — Witches and Warlocks will come alive in Alameda during WITCHFEST 2022 scheduled for Oct. 22 at Al Fresco Dining Park, 1435 Webster Street.
Beginning at 11 a.m., WITCHFEST is a celebration of Samhain Sabbat, also known as Halloween, featuring art, vendors, music, speakers, kids crafts, holistic practitioners, food and drinks.
According to the event website, Samhain, meaning summer's end, is a festival of the dead and is a celebration of the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year.

For many, Samhain also is the beginning of the spiritual new year.
The free for all ages event will showcase stage performances, music and speakers, DJ Sets by Tanoa Samoa Boy Stewart, Miz Margo and The Barbary Ghost, a wellness village featuring Reiki, Acupuncture and craft demonstrations and a metaphysical nook with Tarot and Natal Chart readings along with food trucks, local artisan vendors, drinks, a kids' corner and a costume contest, event organizers said.

VIP Tickets are available online and include VIP seating near the stage, a commemorative WITCHFEST tote/swag bag and a limited edition WITCHFEST artist T-shirt. VIP Tickets start at $25.
VIP Ticket holders should check in at the Feathered Outlaw shop at 1506 Webster Street the day of the event to collect VIP bags, event organizers said.
