Woman Pedestrian Killed In Alameda
Both the victim and the driver, who is cooperating with investigators, are Alameda residents.
ALAMEDA, CA — A pedestrian was killed in Alameda just before 6:30 pm on Wednesday, according to the Alameda Police Department.
The crash was in the intersection of Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and Coral Sea Street.
The victim, a 59-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The driver, a 70-year-old man, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
