Altadena Town Council elections are Saturday - and if you don't know anything about your candidate or how to vote, here's everything you need to know.
Tracts
Each Altadena voter can only vote for the race in her census tract. If you don't know which census tract you reside in, check out this article on how to find it or look it up on the map attached to this post.
Candidates
There are 13 candidates are running in various census tracts for eight open seats, except for 4603.02, which does not have a candidate. Several candidates have withdrawn since originally filing to run.
To see the list of candidates and their statements, go to the ATC Elections website here. Make sure you know which census tract you reside in.
Polling Places
After some initial struggles with finding enough people to fully staff the polling stations, enough volunteers have been found to keep all stations open, according to Eric Pierce of the Altadena Town Council Election Committee.
Seven polling places will be open June 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., except for the library, which will open at 10 a.m. to coincide with the Art on Millionaire’s Row event start time, the ATC Election Committee shared.
