Caltrans Crew Finds Skeletal Human Remains in Pasadena

A Caltrans brush clearing crew found skeletal human remains Thursday near the Ventura (134) Freeway in Pasadena.

The remains were found around 1 p.m. on Linda Vista Avenue north of the freeway near Fern Drive, said Pasadena police Lt. Vasken Gourdikian.

Coroner's investigators responded to the scene to assist in the investigation, which determined the remains were human, Gourdikian said.

The public was asked to avoid the area late this afternoon as the investigation continued, Gourdikian said.
