Eliot Middle School Kids to Experience Simulated Earthquake
Eliot kids will have a chance to see what a 3.5 earthquake is like in a simulator that will be brought to the school Monday morning.
kids will experience the falling objects, sounds, and sensations of an earthquake Monday morning in earthquake simulators that will be brought to the school.
The simulators are three large vans with model classrooms inside where students can see what it would be like to be in an earthquake and can prcatice preparedness.
The simulators are called the "Shakey Quakey” Schoolhouse Van and were arranged by County Supervisor Michael Antonovich. They can be viewed in the photos on right.
