Injured Woman Rescued at Eaton Canyon

A 51-year-old woman with an injured ankle was helped by the Altadena Search and Rescue team on Monday afternoon, according to Rich Deleon, a member of the team.

The hiker was only about a quarter mile into a hike from the trail head when she injured herself, Deleon said.  Her ankle may have been broken, he added.

The team helped her back to the trail head and she was transported out by ground ambulance.
