210 Closures for Gold Line Construction
The eastbound 210 Freeway will be closed at Baldwin tonight due to the Gold Line extension project.

The eastbound 210 Freeway will be closed at Baldwin from midnight to 5 a.m. to make way for construction on theFoothill Extension 210 Bridge. The eastbound on-ramps at Rosemead Boulevard, Michillinda Boulevard and Baldwin Avenues will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Traffic wil be detoured onto Foothill Avenue.
Construction is well underway on the Gold Line extension project, which is slated for completion in 2015. The will continue the Gold Line east into the San Gabriel Valley communities of, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale and Azusa

A 584-linear foot bridge, slated for completion in July, will cross over the eastbound lanes of the I-210 Freeway between Baldwin and Santa Anita Avenues. This will connect the Sierra Madre Villa Station in Pasadena with the future Arcadia Station.
Workers have already installed the first of three 11-foot diameter, 110-foot deep bridge foundations. Drilling on the first foundation finished last week.

Intermittent partial and full closures of the eastbound I-210 Freeway will continue to be necessary during the year-long bridge construction project. Once the bridge is finished, contractors will begin installing track, utilities and systems.
