Arcadia Firefighters Raise $6,000 for Charity

From the Muscular Dystrophy Association:

Firefighters from the Arcadia Firefighters Association participated in their 1^st Annual Fill the Boot for MDA on April 26^th. In just four hours, the Arcadia Firefighters raised $6,126.65 to benefit the local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), an organization dedicated to finding a cure for muscular dystrophy, ALS, as well as other related diseases. The Arcadia Firefighters volunteered their time Filling the Boot for MDA at the intersection of Huntington and Baldwin in the city of Arcadia. The Firefighters proceeds benefit MDA’s programs and services including clinics, summer camps and funding scientific research.
