Film Festival at Santa Anita Awards Two $10,000 Prizes
A movie by an Altadena filmmaker took the $10,000 Judge's Prize at the "A Day at the Races" Film Festival at Santa Anita Park this week.

Santa Anita Park's "A Day at the Races" second annual film festival awarded two $10,000 prizes to Southern California film makers this week.
Altadena resident Lance Kramer of Kramer Productions won the Judge's Prize for a film called "One" and Miguel Mouchess of Downey took home the Fan Favorite Award for "And Away They Go," according to a Santa Anita news release.
"One" is a documentary chronicling talk radio host and Mizdirection owner Jim Rome's experiences in horse racing. "And Away They Go" focuses on Santa Anita itself and explores the park's "unique ability to bring the diverse horse racing culture and its fans together," according to the release.
