UPDATE: Garage Fire
Residents in the home were unharmed, but estimated loss tops $150,000.

A garage fire at at home in the 1400 block of South Mayflower Avenue led to an nearly four-hour street closure Tuesday. The cause of the fire, which broke out at 7:15 a.m., remains under investigation. However, officials say it appears the fire was accidental.
The residents of the home lost two cars parked in the 4-car garage, an extensive doll collection and other keepsakes, but did not suffer any injuries. estimated the property loss at more than $150,000.
While firefighters battled the flames, closed the street and directed commuters heading east or west to Duarte Road and Camino Real, and commuters heading north or south to 10th Avenue and Peck Road.
