Gas Leak Capped On Foothill Boulevard In Pasadena Area

The leak shut down eastbound and westbound traffic.

PASADENA, CA – A Southern California Gas Co. spokeswoman said that a morning gas leak in Pasadena has been capped, and gas is no longer flowing from the "small'' pipeline, which was damaged by a "third party'' doing some digging in the area.

Gas company crews are still on scene to complete repairs of the pipe.

The leak shut down eastbound and westbound traffic on Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena, according to the Pasadena Fire Department. Crews are making repairs at Sierra Madre Villa Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
