Arcadia firefighters will be holding out their boots on Huntington Drive Friday to collect donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Motorists will be asked to "Fill the Boot" at Huntington and Baldwin Avenue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. "Going out in Arcadia with boots in hand, firefighters are raising money for worldwide research seeking treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy and related diseases," the Arcadia Firefighters' Association said in a statement. The union hopes to raise $5,000 through the campaign.
