Library Director Suffers Heart Attack at Work, Dies
Jackie Faust-Moreno suffered a heart attack at work Wednesday; she was taken to Arcadia Methodist Hospital, where she died over the weekend.

The Pasadena Star-News reported that Arcadia's Director of Library and Museum Services, Jackie Faust-Moreno, died Saturday at following a heart attack she suffered at work days before.
Faust-Moreno, 63, has worked at the library since 1984. She became director in June 2011 after working her way up from her initial post as a reference librarian, according to the newspaper.
"It was quite a shock, of course, to all of us," Scott Hettrick, chairman of Arcadia Library Board of Trustees, told the Star-News. "She had been in good health and very active ... in the last week with the budget process. She had been very active even to the point of taking walks on her lunch break up and down Santa Anita Avenue."
