A recent two-part Patch investigation into the use of Lasix to prevent internal bleeding in race horses stirred up plenty of controversy and strong emotions amongst our readers.

Proponents of the drug say it , making it good for both the animals and the sport. say it may give some horses an unfair advantage over others.
