Throwback Thursday: The 210 Under Construction

Every Thursday, we'll publish a photo of Arcadia from back in the day.

The 210 Freeway links the San Gabriel Valley to downtown Los Angeles and the the Inland Empire. Construction on the freeway began in 1958.

Around 1970, the Santa Fe Railway depot at Santa Anita was moved to the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden to make way for construction of the 210 through Arcadia.

Do you remember when the 210 Freeway was being built through Arcadia?
