What Do You Think of the Plan to Restore Santa Anita's Fabled Chandelier Room?

The iconic Chandelier Room at Santa Anita Park will be restored as part of a multi-million dollar renovation project, the Pasadena Star-News reported.
Contrary to rumors, the room will not be razed or turned into a nightclub. Instead, renovations could include an added balcony and installation of additional windows, Santa Anita Park Chairman Keith Brackpool told the paper.
"We're not tearing it down; we're retaining the character of it and we're beautifying it," Brackpool said to the Star-News. "The basic structures of the rooms are staying, the chandeliers are staying, the mirrors are staying."
