Community Meeting to Make Baldwin Park More Pedestrian and Bike Friendly

The community is invited to a meeting aimed at making Baldwin Park neighborhoods and streets more pedestrian- and bike-friendly reported the SGV Tribune.

The community meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Holland Middle School, located at 4733 Landis Avenue.

During the meeting youths will sharte their findings of the bike audit they performed as a result of their involvement in the Baldwin Park Cycler Leadership Program. There will also be a discussion of the proposed improvements for the northern Maine Avenue corridor.

Una reunión comunitaria que buscará promover una ciudad más amigable para los peatones y las bicicletas se llevará a cabo el próximo 26 de enero,  reportó el diario SGV Tribune.

La reunión será en la Escuela Media Hollan, ubicado en el 4733 de la Avenida Landis y será de 6 a 8 p.m.

Durante la presentación, algunos jóvenes compartirán los resultados de una auditoría sobre bicicletas, como resultado de su involucramiento con el programa de Liderazgo y Ciclismo de Baldwin Park.  También se discutirá una propuesta para mejorar un corredor vial de la Avenida Maine.
