Ginny Miller and Sal Holguín finished in first place in the Waltz category.

Baldwin Park resident Ginny Miller and her partner Sal Holguín captivated the judges at the Los Angeles County Fair with their dance moves, and went on to win the dancing competition at the event this week.
Miller and Holguin finished in first place in the Waltz category and second place in the Foxtrot and Rumba categories, at the "Senior Ballroom Dancing Competition" of the L.A County fair, which started on August 31st and will be open until September 30th.
The Waltz, a dance favored by high-society people since the 16th century, has been maintained as a tradition for young girls and their escorts during the popular "Quinceañera" parties.
