PICO RIVERA, CA — A 13-year-old boy was shot to death in Pico Rivera, authorities said Sunday.

The shooting was reported about 11:45 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 8800 block of Whittier Boulevard, where the child was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.

There was no other immediate information available.
