1 Person Dies Following Crash On Banning's Ramsey Street

BANNING, CA — One person was killed late Thursday morning in a vehicle crash in Banning, police confirmed.
The wreck was reported at 11:12 a.m. in the 1100 block of E. Ramsey Street.
The Banning Police Department released few details about the incident but said when officers arrived at the scene they found a male and female down in the street who were involved in the crash "with another vehicle."

Both people were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment, but the female died due to her injuries, according to the police department. Her identity was not released pending notification of next of kin.

No arrests were announced and the department did not indicate it was looking for any suspects. However, because the crash remains under investigation, the agency asked that anyone who may have additional information about the case contact the department at 951-922-3170.
