17 Injured After Tour Bus, Semi Collide In Riverside County
The crash happened early Saturday morning, sending all 17 victims to the hospital.
WHITEWATER, CA -- At least 17 people were injured early Saturday morning in Riverside County after a semi-truck and a tour bus collided. The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Whitewater Canyon Road in Whitewater, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
All 17 victims suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals by ground ambulance. Another 33 people escaped the crash without injuries, according to fire officials.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
