Anti-Trump Rally Planned In RivCo This Weekend: What To Know
Hundreds of thousands say they plan to participate in a nationwide string of protests against the Trump Administration this weekend.

RIVERSIDE, CA — Swaths of protesters are expected to amass in downtown Riverside on Saturday night in response to a slew of recent decisions cast by the Trump Administration recently.
Indivisible Riverside, a political activist group, has teamed up with a larger movement "Hands Off!" which plans to send thousands into the streets in cities nationwide to rally against President Donald Trump this weekend.
"This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies," according to Hands Off!

It is expected to be the largest single-day protest since Trump re-entered office as more than 400,000 people have RSVP'd to at least 1,000 events in all 50 states, The Hill reported.
In Riverside, protesters are expected to gather from 6:30 to 8: p.m. at Market Street and University Avenue downtown.

Organizers say the evening event will include lighted letter boards so participants can spell "hands off" or other messages.
"Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They're taking everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them," organizers wrote on the website.
In response, White House garden tours were postponed to Sunday ahead of the D.C. protests, Axios reported.
Picketers plan to speak out against federal spending cuts, mass layoffs of federal workers and other cuts to public services. Trump also announced plans for sweeping tariffs this week, driving up fears of soaring costs for consumers. The protests also come as other rallies recently broke out against Elon Musk, DOGE and Tesla.
Protests are planned at state capitols, federal buildings, congressional offices and city centers.
"Anywhere we can make sure they hear us," Hands Off! said.
Across the Southland, protests are planned in Palm Springs, Los Angeles, San Diego, Carlsbad, Torrance, San Clemente, Huntington Beach and dozens more cities.
The activist website includes tools and tips to de-escalate potential confrontations.
"A core principle behind Hands Off! is a commitment to nonviolent action," organizers said.
