Armed Beaumont Holdup, Asleep At The Wheel: BPD Police Blotter

BEAUMONT, CA — Here are the most recent arrest logs, reports, and updates, as provided by the Beaumont Police Department on Tuesday:

On Monday, April 8, 2019, the Beaumont Police Department was dispatched to the area of Jonabell Way and Ring Ranch Road in response to a traffic collision with injury. The victim, an elderly female had collided with the curb, bushes and street light along Ring Ranch Road. The female sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The cause of the accident appears to be due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel.

On April 8, 2019, at approximately 1:08 am, the Beaumont Police Department received a silent hold up alarm activation from a business in the 500 block of Highland Springs. Almost immediately after, a 911 call was received from an employee of the business notifying dispatch the business had been robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect was reported to have entered the business, brandished a black revolver and demanded money. The suspect then left the location, with an undisclosed amount of cash, in a white compact passenger vehicle. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 28-39 years of age, 5’8”-5’10”, approximately 180 lbs., with facial tattoos. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hat and jacket. On April 7, 2019, at approximately 2:06 pm, the Beaumont Police Department received a call in regard to a stolen travel trailer. The victim reported their travel trailer had been stolen the day prior and surveillance video captured the suspects as they made off with the trailer. The suspects were described as two, Hispanic male adults, driving a silver Range Rover with paper plates. The same pair and vehicle were witnessed attempting to steal a trailer in a different location on the same day. The subjects were later apprehended by another law enforcement agency and the trailer was returned to its owner.
