Banning Convenience Store Robbed, Cops Seek Suspect

A suspect robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money at the point of a gun and fled on foot eastbound on Ramsey, police say.

BANNING, CA — A Banning gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday.

The robbery was reported around 4 a.m. Sunday to a Chevron at 3230 W. Ramsey St., according to the Banning Police Department.

Officers said the store clerk reported that a man entered the gas station and robbed her of an undisclosed amount of money at the point of a gun and fled on foot eastbound on Ramsey.

The suspect was described as a man between 25 and 40 years old in a multicolored hoodie with matching shorts.

Officers conducted an unsuccessful search for him in the area.
