Banning Man Arrested In Storage Facility Burglary: RCSD
Investigators allege a Banning man stole more than $30,000 worth of items from four Palm Desert storage units.
PALM DESERT, CA — A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary of a storage facility, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Saturday.
The burglary was reported July 28 at a storage facility in Palm Desert.
According to Sgt. Travis Mountz, the suspects victimized four separate people by allegedly stealing a total of more than $30,000 worth of property from their storage units.

The Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team identified Allen Jerry Andris, a 49-year-old Banning resident, as one of the suspects.
The total number of suspects was unknown.

Andris was located at his residence on Friday around 9:20 a.m., and the Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant at the location. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
A 42-year-old woman identified as Lisa Atherly, was also at the location and was allegedly found to have an outstanding felony warrant and was arrested. The reason for her outstanding felony warrant was unknown.
Both Andris and Atherly were booked at the Smith Correctional Facility.
