Banning Museum To Host Sugar Skull Workshop For Young Artists

The Art & Heritage Museum is hosting the Young Artist Workshop on Saturday for local students.

BANNING, CA — Young artists will have the opportunity to create sugar skull masks at Banning's Art & Heritage Museum this Saturday, organizers said.

Students aged 7 to 15 are invited to the museum, formerly called the Banning Art Gallery, for the workshop, which will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

"Young artists will create Halloween 'Sugar Skull' Masks using household items, such as cupcake papers as well as pom-poms, sequins and colored markers," the museum said.

Entry to the two hour workshop is $12 per student.

The Art & Heritage Museum is located in the Haven building at 42 W. Ramsey St., Ste C in Banning.
