How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

He took me in when I had nowhere to go. He's helped me become a better version of myself and we fell in love.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

Terry is an amazing man. He has a kind heart — I love him.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

Thank you so much for loving me and caring about my well-being. You are such an amazing man, and I am so thankful for you. I don’t tell you often enough, and I know I’m a little rough around the edges, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love you. I’ve been through a lot, and with your help, I’ve started to let my past go. So thank you — thank you for having the courage to love me back.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

I love how as a community or a group, we come together when the time calls for it.
