Beaumont High School Student Questioned About Bomb Threat
The non-credible threat was sent via email to a San Gorgonio Middle School teacher, police said.

BEAUMONT, CA — A bomb threat sent via email to a middle school teacher in Beaumont this week remained under investigation, though the threat was not credible, police said.
The Beaumont Police Department was contacted Tuesday by Beaumont Unified School District staff regarding the email sent to a San Gorgonio Middle School teacher threatening to bomb an unspecified campus.
In response, police responded to San Gorgonio Middle School and searched the campus. All staff and students were determined to be safe, according to Beaumont police.

During the investigation, a Beaumont High School student was identified as a suspect in the case. There was no word of an arrest.
