Beaumont In-N-Out Officially Opens To Anxious Crowds: PHOTOS

It was the most popular place in town on Friday, as hundreds lined up to get a taste of the famous burgers.

BEAUMONT, CA — Pass Area residents flocked Friday to the town's newest eatery, In-N-Out. On its first day of operation, the popular fast food restaurant saw hundreds of masked customers line up to get a taste of the California icon.

With a line of cars three-deep and patrons socially distanced in masks, the business opened among the most uncertain of times. But that didn't deter these hungry hamburger fans: As of 6 p.m., more than a thousand customers had already stopped by, according to an estimate given to Patch.

Among the youngest of guests enjoying some outdoor dining was little 1-year-old Emmeline, who sat atop a table with her grandparents.
