Big Rig Crash, Jet Fuel Spill At RivCo County Line Snarls Traffic
A partial closure of the Eastbound Interstate 10 was still causing traffic delays on Thursday morning as authorities responded to a crash.

CALIMESA, CA — A big rig accident on Eastbound Interstate 10 that triggered a jet fuel spill has prompted the partial closure near the County Line exit in San Bernardino County, the CHP told Patch.
The crash, which was reported around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, was still snarling traffic as the third and fourth lanes of the I-10 east were closed as of 12:35 p.m.
Preliminary reports from the California Highway Patrol indicated that two big rigs were involved. Cleanup crews were called to the scene, and the closure was extended at least twice, according to the CHP log. The reports described a complicated cleanup, possibly involving a large amount of jet fuel spilled onto the roadway.
