Bogart Trout Fishing Derby, A Few Spots Left To Fish At The Pond
The Kids' Trout Derby is on April 12, and registration spots are filling up. Don't miss your chance to catch a big'un at Bogart Pond

BEAUMONT, CA — There's still time to sign the kids up for the Bogart Trout Fishing Derby, according to the regional park website, but spots are filling up.
The Kids' Trout Derby is slated for April 12, and the Adult Derby is slated for April 13. Registration spots are filling up forthe kids, and registration is full for the adults.
"The adult derby fills up quickly, as there are only so many spots around our Bogart Pond. Within a few days, registration was full, and we closed the link for adults to register," they said. "We only have a few spots in the youngest age divisions, so sign up soon.

Spots remain available in the older kid derby divisions.
"If you find a division closed, please call us, and we can assist you. Remember, we also have a sensory-friendly division. Call us for more info!

"We are finalizing how many spots we have left, but if you’re interested in a spot in this derby and haven’t yet registered, please call us at the office: 951-845-9555, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to noon.

If you miss the derby, the pond is still available for fishing. Adult fishing licenses are $18 and children can fish for $14. There is a five-fish limit and all kept fish must be 10 inches in size, or larger. At the pond, fish for rainbow trout, albino trout and catfish.
