Beaumont Unified School District Seats: CA Election 2020

BEAUMONT, CA — Two Beaumont Unified School District board seats are on the ballot this year — Trustee Areas 1 and 5.

In Trustee Area 1, incumbent Brian Sylva is running for a seat on the Mt. San Jacinto Community College District board of trustees, so voters will decide between two candidates: Kevin Palkki, an educator, and Shawn Mitchell, a retired Beaumont USD principal.

In Trustee Area 5, incumbent David Anthony Sanchez is running unopposed.

Board members are elected to serve four year terms.

The Beaumont Unified School District is guided by a Governing Board composed of five publicly elected officials. Seats in Trustee Areas 2, 3 and 4 are up for re-election in 2022.
