CHP Closes Gillman Springs Road Near Banning Due to Sinkhole
A large sinkhole has resulted in the closure of a stretch of road between SR-60 and SR-79.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA -- The California Highway Patrol has closed Gilman Springs Road in both directions between SR-60 and SR-79 due to a large sinkhole that has developed on Gilman Springs Road, just west of Bridge Street.
A large sinkhole has appeared on Gilman Springs Road, just west of Bridge Street. CHP has closed Gilman Springs Road in both directions between SR-60 and SR-79. The size and extent of the damage has yet to be determined. Please use alternate routes until further notice.
