Beaumont Off-Ramp To Close For Landscaping Project

Drivers are urged to use other routes and reduce speed on I-10 when passing work crews.

BEAUMONT, CA — A landscaping project along the westbound Interstate 10 will require the closure of the Beaumont Avenue off-ramp for a portion of Friday, officials said.

Weather permitting, Caltrans is scheduled to work on vegetation management from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the city of Beaumont announced.

"Plan ahead and expect delays," officials said in a Wednesday Facebook post.

Drivers are urged to use caution when driving in the area for the safety of Banning Maintenance crews.

"Please reduce your speed when near work areas for the safety of crews and other drivers on the route. Signage will be placed ahead to indicate approaching roadway work," the city said.
